Our research group has grown larger. We want to introduce Anna Steps, Jana Oswald-Hennemann and Hendrik Wolff-Görlitz, who will be contributing to our collective effort.
Anna is a dentistry student in her 3rd year at the University of Bonn. She has completed a Bachelor of science degree in Neuroscience and Philosophy which sparked her interest in neuroimaging and philosophical questions about the brain. Aiming for her doctoral degree, Anna will be looking into different field strengths of MRI Scanners, evaluating its strength and weaknesses in neuroimaging.
Jana works as a student assistant at the Translational Neuroimaging Lab where she is mainly responsible for MRI scans. She is currently pursuing her M.Sc in Neurosciences at the University of Bonn. Before this, she completed her B.Sc in Applied Biology at the Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg in 2023. Alongside these responsibilities, Jana also works in the Foerster Station, Department of Epileptology.
Hendrik is a third year medical student at the University of Bonn. During a research semester, he will be working on 7T-MRI‘s diagnostic advantages of CEST-Imaging, a relatively newly introduced imaging method. To be more precise,he will focus on the clinical benefits of Amide/Amine-CEST-Imaging on focal epilepsy.
