Lennart spent the better part of the summer in London working with Konrad, Sophie, and Mathilde from the MELD Project. Over the last years, the MELD team has collected the largest MRI dataset on focal epilepsy. Based on this dataset, Lennart developed and trained Deep Learning models for the segmentation of epileptogenic lesions, with a focus on dealing with heteromodal (i.e. various, potentially missing MRI sequences) data. With a beautiful workplace directly across the Thames from Big Ben and the rich cultural diversity of London, the stay was an amazing experience.
